The Season is Over.

Due to vandalism we will not be racing anymore this year... So both Shootouts on Nov. 10 and on Nov. 26 have been cancelled. We deeply regret this decision, but in light of the circumstances we just feel like ending the season and starting fresh next year. Because correcting the vandalism will require extensive rewiring and it cannot be done in such a short period of time.

Again the following races are cancelled...

StreetCar ShootOut- Nov. 10, 2007 - Cancelled
Motorcyle Shootout- Nov. 24, 2007 - Cancelled

Hopefully we can all have a great season next year and we will start it off with a ShootOut in March. The details of which will be posted later.

StreetCar ShootOut and a MotorCycle ShootOut!!!

We got such a great response from emails, each wanting different things, that we decided to do Both the StreetCar ShootOut (Nov.-10) and a Motorcyle Shootout (Nov.-24) . These will be the final two shootouts of the year and we are really excited to end the year with a bang. But in order to keep racing, weather permitting, we are going to have to get more participation in each class.

Because their is a lot of hidden expense that we are responsible for... Like track insurance, labor, track compound, plus lights and that's just the tip of what's involved in hosting these events and we have to be able to at least break even if we are going to keep racing late into the year. But we are holding out hope for a great winter season and we know everyone will try to do their best to keep Racing!

Also if you have some photos... Some Video... or even just a story (family friendly of course;)) that has to do with Delta Dragracing. Then feel free to email us at RacewayPark@Gmail.com and we'll toss it online. This way we can still keep in touch... even during the winter.

The ShootOut was a BLAST!!!

We had a great time last weekend and we hope to have an even better one next time. And thankfully the weather cooperated and we all got to run in the sunshine!

We want to hold another Shootout, but we are torn on whether it should be a Motorcycle Shootout or another StreetCar Shootout. We've gotten a few emails saying they want the Motorcycle Shootout, but we need to get our ducks in a row and have everything ready for either. Weather Update for the Shootout.

The weather this weekend is supposed to be partly cloudy with chances of showers on Saturday. We are hoping the sun stays out and we can all race... But if the weather doesn't cooperate... Then we'll reschedule the StreetCar ShootOut for Oct. 13.


So... No matter what, we are going to race.

Motorcycle Shootout in November...

Our Prayers are with John Force.

John Force's crash is a brutal reminder of how important safety is... But even after this crash. He still says he's racing in 2 weeks. Now that's a real drag racer.
